Hi KidsMum,

Thanks for your post!

It absolutely sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now! I'm glad that you are here.

While I don't have PND personally I hope that I might be able to help in linking to others

These are some of the threads already talking about PND.

Postnatal depression

Hello Beyond Blue world!

I have come here to talk to others that may be experiencing postnatal depression. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child and my first is 2.5 years old. I know that I had some depression with my 1st child but never sought any help. There is a lot of information and resources for 1st time parents about this topic however, this time round, the depression is different and not so focused on my pregnancy or being a parent. It's a bunch of things like not working and being worried about getting back into the workforce eventually, a decision of moving back to Australia from the US as I wasn't coping well with being a Mum, the worry of certain emotions returning once I have this second baby...writing it out doesn't seem like much of a problem...so maybe I'm overreacting and it's just the pregnancy causing doubt?

Anyway, love to hear from anyone else who may be dealing with PND or is just struggling with life as a stay-at-home-Mum.

Thanks!

Hi, I'm new here, had 3rd child a year ago (5yr gap from previous 2 kids), very traumatic birth & work stress all happened together in one year. Still suffering repercussions of all this, now feeling isolated & all my family live overseas so no real support network out here. I am seeking help/advice on where I can get some PND counselling in the local area of north Brisbane if anyone can help please? Finances are tight so somewhere cheap and local would be advantageous. Thanks x

Thank you! I will look into Peach tree!

Yes its tough, and hard when you have lil family around. I never realised how tough it would be with another baby around- guess this first year is the hardest though!
