Hi green s

i know what you mean I am so foggy atm I can't concentrate much. I am finding it a bit easier if I stretch my legs or try and do something some that I really like, I i enjoy it it's easier to focus on and sometimes that focus can stick around for a while. Sometimes.

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what helps you minimise that foggy brain feeling that comes with anxiety? I feel like other people would have experienced it too? Where you feel all cloudy in the head and not really all there? It's one symptom I get that really bothers me and I cope so much better on days that it's not around! Has stuck with me for a few days now and I'm sick of it!

Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙂

Thankyou!!

Hi green_s

Yes I do understand what you are describing. I have had difficulty describing it accurately, because it is such an odd feeling. Not a headache, not dizziness, not 'head cold' type feeling, its just like a dull cloud in my head. Foggy feeling fits also.

I sense though that it is due to the medication I am taking. The higher the dose the thicker the fog (so to speak). Spoke to my psychologist about it and he seems to agree with me that it is probably the meds (i.e. not my head!). But as Flower_Girl says, it makes it hard to concentrate or to try and get motivated to do things. I take my meds in the morning and by late evening the fog has cleared.

No suggestions I am afraid, but just to let you know my spin on that feeling. Although, maybe a change in meds is on the cards for me?

Take care

K
