Hi, does anyone feel woozy and off balance with Perimenopause. I struggle more with it when standing still, I am struggling to go shopping because standing at the counter waiting makes me feel like I am going to fall over. Driving at times has been a struggle too 😕

Hi Rach_den23_

Welcome back, thank you for your post. You are definitely not alone in trying to manage the multitude of changes and symptoms that can arise with perimenopause and we’re glad that you have shared here.

It sounds like this is having a real impact on your day-to-day life. If you haven’t already, it may be worthwhile booking in with your GP to discuss what you have been experiencing and seeing if there is anything that can help. You deserve to be able to do the shopping without that feeling.

We have some threads that you might be interested in that discuss anxiety and perimenopause here:

We also have a menopause and perimenopause webinar that is available to view

There are also some good resources on the Beyond Blue website here: Perimenopause, menopause and mental health

We hope that any of the above can be helpful. We are here for you at any time you want to talk 💙

Kind regards
