      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi CosmicJellybean&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just saw this post, after having replied to your other one. Having mentioned the need for a sense of wonder in your other post, I can't help but &lt;EM&gt;wonder&lt;/EM&gt; about the anxiety attacks you're experiencing.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm wondering if it would make any difference to reframe the anxiety attacks by calling them 'energy spikes'. The question then becomes 'Why am I having such intense energy spikes?'. Whether it's &lt;STRONG&gt;chemical&lt;/STRONG&gt; energy such as with cortisol spikes or dopamine spikes, &lt;STRONG&gt;mental&lt;/STRONG&gt; energy triggered by certain thoughts or some other form of energy, the question remains the same, 'Why am I feeling sudden bursts of energy?'. You could always dig a little deeper and ask 'When do they happen, who do they happen around, what kind of environment tends to trigger them?' etc etc. While people who experience ADHD have amazing natural amounts of energy, finding ways to manage that natural energy can become challenging. What to channel it into, how to vent it constructively and how to get the most out of it are just a few of the many challenges.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi CosmicJellybean,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also have anxiety and am still learning how to manage, but so far, there are a few things at the moment are helping me to reduce the anxiety level.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;1) worry stones: it's a little ceramic with a place to rub your thumb in. This sometimes calms me down, other times doesn't help at all. Depend how the level of anxiety I'm in.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Playdough: if the worry stones don't work, I get a little piece of playdough and start rolling and modelling with my thumb and index finger; the majority of the time, this is the win.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) Some calm music. Sometimes I have anxiety at night, and I can not sleep, so this time I put on some calm music with a very low volume and closed my eyes, so this has been working so far.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4)breath exercise: I'm still trying every time, but it isn't working for me...maybe for you could?1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These are my strategies to calm myself down from anxiety. However, I'm still learning what it's work for me and just remember to remove yourself from the situation that has caused you to have anxiety (if you can).&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this find you well and help a little bit!&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
