    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It could be the medication although I was nauseous before the meds. I've been transitioning into an antidepressant the last week at just a 1/4 a day and I have to say the nausea has gotten worse. I'm now struggling to eat much at all which is distressing. It's hard to get good medical help because my Dr is in high demand and I can't see her for three weeks. My psychologist is talking about referring me for EMDR (I think it's called). I'm still managing my life (kids and work) but it's getting difficult. At least my jaw pain has improved.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've had extreme anxiety for months now and panic attacks. I'm getting help from a GP and a psychologist but what gets me is that I am almost constantly nauseous - that's how I experience anxiety. I'm on strong anti-nausea but it sucks struggling to eat. I was overweight and now I'm at my goal weight but boy do I miss being fat and happy. Anyone else have similar symptoms?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I hope your jaw is OK now, it was very troublesome before.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you have both a GP and a psychologist to assist you I'd presume you are on medications and maybe have therapy too. (This is what I had for my anxiety).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Feeling&amp;nbsp;nauseous&amp;nbsp; all the time is horrible and makes for a very miserable life. It sounds like the medication for that is ineffective and causing you distress.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had various side effects from some of the medications I was given (including constant nausea with one of them) and had to ask that they be changed. It may be that your medication has the same effect on you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the nausea comes from your anxiety condition then perhaps the treatment for anxiety is not as effective as it might be.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you think it might be worth having a discussion with your medical team to see if there alternative medications or therapies? While you may have reached your desired weight I'm not sure that's very helpful at the moment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you felt like saying how you get on that would be great&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Croix&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Dana,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I just wanted to reach out and say you are absolutely not alone in experiencing this. The gut-brain connection is so incredibly strong, and it’s beyond frustrating when your anxiety decides to manifest physically like that. It often turns into a vicious cycle, because feeling sick all day just makes you feel more anxious and exhausted!&lt;BR /&gt;When my anxiety was at its peak, I had the exact same issue with constant nausea. It makes it so hard to just get through a normal day, let alone focus on anything else. It is fantastic that you are already working with a GP and a psychologist that’s a huge and really important step, even if it feels like progress is slow right now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Something that gave me tiny bits of relief (alongside the professional help) was constantly sipping on weak ginger or peppermint tea, and sometimes just keeping a warm wheat bag on my stomach to help relax the tense muscles there. It wasn't a magic cure, but it offered a little bit of comfort when the anti-nausea medication wasn't quite cutting it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please be gentle with yourself right now. It takes time for a highly sensitized nervous system to calm down, but you are doing all the right things by getting help. Hang in there, and take it one hour at a time if you need to.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I went back to the GP who has now put me on some new meds and fortunately they have really helped with the nausea and I had my best eating day in ages yesterday- I was even hungry. I've had a referral to a psychiatrist so I'm feeling like maybe I can turn things around. One day at a time and all that.
