Hi Jaxx - sorry you are going through something like this. I have felt something similar following a traumatic incident I cannot change. My suggestions are 1. See a GP and see if you are suitable for medication to help with sleep and a mental health plan to get more affordable care from a psychologist; 2. See a psychologist who specializes in trauma. If you feel too overwhelmed call the Lifeline crisis line.
Thinking of you. This is so hard but it will be more manageable over time. Be kind and gentle to yourself

I made a mistake that negatively impacted someone else and indirectly led to the person ruining their own life. While i didnt have control of the choices they made, i feel it is all my fault, because if i hadnt done what i did, they wouldnt have done what they did. In other words their life would not be ruined if it wasnt for me. I feel overwhelming guilt, anxious and sick every day. I am constantly thinking about it. I feel ashamed of the mistake and guilty for the ultimate impact it had.

Hi Jazz - I forgot to mention the gp may be also able to suggest medication for anxiety or adrenaline spikes through the day. Wishing you the best
