Hi all

Have been having a tough time of late. Hav had a history of health anxiety (including the well worn path of MS testing).

After getting the all clear, I was travelling well. Suddenly I got either a minor stomach bug or an IBS flare up. Either way, I was out of action for a week. 3 weeks on, I’m still quite fatigued and feeling lightheaded/out of it. Kinda like a walking zombie.

As per usual, I did the google search and came to the conclusion that I have chronic fatigue syndrome and I’ll be like this forever. Really frustrating as it’s all I can focus on and think about.

Has anyone else gone through lengthy periods of time with fatigue? I didn’t feel overly anxious when this kicked in but understand anxiety can manifest in many forms.

cheers

Hello, I don't have the awful long fatigue, though for awhile I have been having headaches and other symptoms like that (makes me feel like a walking zombie like you too), which makes me assume that I have a brain tumor or other serious head condition, despite having a CT done just two months ago and been repeatedly checked by neurologist.

I am not so sure how productive this is, but for me I would drink tea daily because of the caffeine (in moderation of course). Feel like it helps with the fatigue and tiredness. I would also try and get a balanced and healthy diet, and try to cross out all of the physical reasons why I might be tired.

Thanks for the reply. I think it’s more so the lightheadedness and kind of dizziness causing me issues. Around about lunchtime I feel like I’m floating and not really with it! Can’t tell if it’s anxiety, result of being ill or a combination of both!

Will try the tea too to see if that helps. Unfortunately going for a walk is very tiring at the moment so will hold off on that for a bit.

Thanks Artiste

Have had every test under the sun. All that came up was a vitamin D deficiency. Getting very worried/frustrated. Have been fatigued for over a month now and not getting any answers or solutions.

my headaches have subsided, but have still been quite low on energy. Have to lie down around lunchtime every day.

Thanks for responding
