Hey guys, I’ve suffered anxiety on and off for a long time. Recently for the last 5 days or so I’ve had this itchy, crawly, prickly skin kind of thing, it’s not constant but it’s been rather bad today, google makes everything worse of course, does anyone else get this or had this and stuff and what do you do to ease it if so? Thanks x

Hi there

i often get this feeling too, you’re not alone. I find having a warm bath or shower often soothes me and helps the tingly sensation go away.

hope this helps

Hi,

I used to get this all the time when I was going through menopause and even now I get it from time to time. It's really awful, isn't it? I find taking pain killers helps. I'm not a dr of course, and everyone is different. Just sharing my own experience. I hope you find a way to deal with this.

Thanks guys, I’ve had it for about 8 days, on and off, it’s not constant but it’s always there if that makes sense. It eases and goes and comes back. It doesn’t wake me up or anything, sorta feels like pins and needles ect,

Do you know if it is a symptom of your anxiety or medication ( if you’re taking any)? Or could it be something else?

Perhaps you could visit the GP, it might help ease your anxiety if they can rule things out from a medical perspective?

Best of luck
