Hi all.

I have managed to somewhat control my anxiety attacks but still get dizzy on and off through out the day. Like im about to have a panic attack. Sometimes it's so bad I feel faint or my head gets pins and needles on the inside. Especially when I'm walking, like in a mall or on the beach. Medically I'm fine physically so assume it is anxiety. Had it for 4 years. Any advice please. Feels like I'm rocking on a boat all the time!

Hi To be FREE

I used to feel like I was going to faint from time to time and that would set off anxiety bigtime for me! For me it was a medical issue - adjusted bp meds and that hasn't happened in a while. (I do have a bp phobia but that's a whole nother post one day!)

So, although you're say medically fine there's a range of things that could cause it such as dehyrdation or low blood sugar - if it happens when or after walking, are you drinking enough? need a little carb? If you feel like you're rocking on a boat could it be ears / sinus?

If everything is ruled out I guess concentrating on your breathing and/or the surroundings might help. Are you anxious about where you're walking, or people watching you etc?
