&lt;P&gt;Welcome to the bb forum and thank you for sharing your story. Congratulations on having the courage to make such a big move. However, I am so sorry that you're having such a hard time with worry and anxiety right now. I know it's hard and I know you're scared.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Just breath. Some deep breathing can be really calming and helpful when we're feeling overwhelmed.  A lot of people find mindfulness helpful too and there are aps you can download to teach yourself this technique. Check out the bb website.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Perhaps you could also try to distract yourself and limit your time on the internet. Go for a walk, watch a movie, call a friend or take a shower or bath. Delay, delay, delay and perhaps the urge will pass.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My last suggestion would be to speak with your doctor about this anxiety and worry. With professional help you will get through this. Life will get better.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I'm currently studying in Japan (it's a good thing, I know) but I've always had trouble with managing my anxiety. Before I left Australia I was seeing a psychologist who was trying to get me to work through it, but recently I became really ill and have spiraled into unhealthy thoughts about getting well. Every time I'm alone I am online looking up more and more symptoms and it's starting to make me feel sick all the time. I feel like I can't trust what the doctors are telling me and I can barely even understand them to begin with. I've been so scared and kind of lonely and I feel like everything is falling apart right now and I don't know what to do. How do I stop worrying when I'm probably fine? I feel shaky all the time now and I just want reassurance. &lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;There are lots of proactive things you can do to reduce anxiety in partnership of professional medical guidance.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Many are mentioned in this thread- use google- Beyondblue topic anxiety, how I eliminated it&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Some others are-&lt;/P&gt;
