topic Intrusive thoughts in Anxiety

Hello Browniesdh

Welcome to the forums and good on you for having the courage to post too!

Intrusive thoughts are very common like many people on the forums also experience. Our sexuality is also common to have inner thoughts about too. You are not alone with having a wondering mind with intrusive thoughts

I have had intrusive thoughts where my depression is concerned and usually see my GP every month for some understanding and support to help me out. I have two GP's and they are both super caring

GP's have better training where our thoughts are concerned nowadays compared to even 10 years ago

It may be another episode of intrusive thoughts.... If you are experiencing the same thoughts several times a day....then having a chat to your GP/counselor may be a good move to clear the air..so to speak!

Great to have you as part of the forum family Brownie....I hope you can post back when its convenient for you:-)

The forums are a non judgemental and secure place for you to post

my kind thoughts

hey so i think i have been struggling with intrusive thoughts i think for a while.

they have made me question things really core to me like my mountain biking and things about my relationship.

my latest intrusive thought episode has been about my sexuality and i think i have convinced myself that i am not what i thought i was

i guess i am wondering if this is just another episode or something more as it is hard to tell, also any tips for dealing with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

thanks paul

I have a feeling that it is just another episode of intrusive thoughts brought on by sleep deprivation(is that possible?) but i was just unsure. logically it would make sense that it is just another intrusive episode as i have always been very sure of it before.

Thanks so much again
