Hi Roogirl,

I know that Lavender is an essential oil and is supposed to be very good for relaxation and aiding depression and anxiety. However, i haven't heard of the tablets so i am curious to know more if you find out?

If you are into essential oils at all, you should definitely look them up and see which ones are best for anxiety and how they help. I bought a candle for a special someone just recently and did a lot of online research re the essential oils and it's pretty interesting.

Best of luck! 🙂

Hello everyone,

My GP has suggested I try lavender capsules/tablets for help with my anxiety. Has anyone out there tried them and if so how did you go with your anxiety? Did you feel calmer etc?

Any comments on this subject welcomed.

Thanks

Hi Roogirl,

I enjoy lavender & chamomile tea and I sometimes think it helps me relax a little in social situations.

I have never heard of Lavender tablets! I would also be interested to know if they have worked for anyone.

Do you get them from the pharmacy?

Kind thoughts, Jess

Hello Roogirl,

I have been taking lavender tablets for about a month now. I got them off the shelf at the pharmacy. Called Seremind. I think they are definitely helping to keep me calm during times of anxiety. Another friend is taking them too and believes they are helping her sleeping. If you get them, let me know how you go.

Roo girl, I rub in lavender oils on my temples when I have a headache.

I have lots of lavender growing at my house but I have not heard of lavender tablets either.

I would be careful you check whether anything you take may affect other medication. Herbal tablets are not seen as medication so they don't undergo the same rigid testing . I would check with my doctor before taking any tablets.

Lavender has a calming scent.
