      <description>Hi, im new to this and I actually feel silly and a little embarrassed..  i have such bad anxiety and i guess some depression at times and I feel like I dont know what to do.. and i know that other ppl go through it too and so many people have lived and have situations so much worse than me that i feel like an ungrateful fool and not really worthy to even be on here..  but i just need to reach out and go outside my comfort zone and actually say what's on my mind and what's going on with me cause i feel like an emotional wreck and like i could explode. &lt;P&gt;Welcome to the forum!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will be glad to know that you need not feel embarrassed or silly on this forum. Also, you are just as worthy as others to receive support. There will always be people in 'worse' situations, but this doesn't change the fact that you need and deserve help. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Would you mind sharing how long you've had this anxiety for? Have you seen a doctor or other professional about your mental health in the past? I too have anxiety, which was first diagnosed a decade ago when I was 13. I'm also a perfectionist, and being hard on ourselves is often linked to this. There are some great resources that were recommended to me by a lovely nurse. You can find these by clicking on this link: &lt;STRONG&gt;http://www.cci.health.wa.gov.au/resources/consumers.cfm  &lt;/STRONG&gt;There is a document here on perfectionism that would be especially useful. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Making an appointment with your doctor (GP) is a great way to move forward. You can explain how you've been feeling and what is concerning you. The doctor may refer you to another professional for extra support. &lt;/P&gt;
