topic Catfishing in Anxiety

hello Someone, maybe there were times when you were enjoying yourself and presumably the other person was as well, so I wouldn't feel so guilty, you know we all go from r/ship to r/ship and in hindsight we could also call that 'catfishing' by luring someone into what we actually aren't in life, so instead I would call it wanting to catch what you want.
It happens with both sexes if you are keen on someone. Geoff.
I catfished somebody for a year and I feel absolutely terrible about it. I shouldn't have done it. What if I am never happy again? I want to cry. I want to move on.. but what if I can't? I can't talk to anybody about it and I am so scared.

Hi Someone

Welcome to the forums and good on you for posting

It takes a lot of guts to post what you did.

Have you thought about a heartfelt apology? That would be a huge cleanser of your conscious right now.

The forums are a judgemental free zone. Whether an email or a letter, at least the other person would respect the apology you offered
