topic Bad thoughts worse after fights? in Anxiety

Does anyone else find that their anxiety gets worse after fighting with loved ones? I'm trying hard to use distraction strategies, and feel like my health anxiety is getting slightly better... but any time i have a disagreement with my partner or something like that I straightaway start thinking bad thoughts about my health - even if we were talking about something totally unrelated.

does anyone else find this?

Hi amalee78,

I actually understand where you are coming from as when I have a fight, my anxiety kicks in and things that upset me all come in one wave and makes me upset, even if the fight had nothing to do with it, it's interesting but usually I sleep it off and wake up ok. How do you usually cope with it when it happens? Health anxiety is tough as well, I have it too so I know how rough it can be.

Do you discuss these with your partner at all?

My best for you,

Jay
