    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all im new to this 12yrs ago i was put on medication for panic attacks and did really good till the doctor felt i could come off the meds 3 and half months ago now i have it back worst than the first time.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have been back on the meds for 5 days and its helping a little I know it takes time to get back in the system I am trying to find some info on relaxation so I can control it better.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Welcome, it sounds like things have been quite hectic for you. There are a few places you can look for some information, one is in the forums here where there are often threads with a pin at the top about self help tips or surfing it out. Also up the top in that blue bar there are drop down menus, I found the information in the facts about anxiety helpful and in there the part about treatment had some strategies.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey Ggina,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You're right, it takes a bit of time for things to even out when you start up your meds.&lt;BR /&gt;
I have trouble relaxing sometimes too. Try downloading the Headspace App.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The basic version is free and has some guided 10 minute relaxation sessions. I find I get quite tense in the morning so I do one before I go to work. The other good time to do it is just before bed because sometimes I get so relaxed I just fall asleep.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Its basically mindfulness, which you can do anywhere. Its all about redirecting your thoughts to help you relax and stop intrusive thoughts.&lt;BR /&gt;
If you get tense during the day, you don't necessarily have to do a full on mindfulness session, there are ways to do it at your desk and nobody would know. &lt;/P&gt;</description>
