Yo mk

hey man i totally fell ya, its crazy u fell the exact same way i feel ... i have a counselor i speak to about my headaches and these weird twitching/spasm i feel. in regards to the tightness if it kind of feels like a sinus headache mostly around the top part of the head (forehead, ears, and or bridge of the nose) could be one of two things that i have personally dealt with 1. it is a sinus headache or 2. you have STRESS (high blood pressure) stress ranging from school work, work, and possibly, family

i personally have all three giving me stress/ tightness

but you could be a different story for you but in regards to the twitching i have friends in group counseling who get these odd twitching things from either drug use or stress

i have prescribed medication i use that could be the reason for my brain twitches IDK ..............................i hope you can pull somthing from what i said if you have any questions about substances being apart of the problem i can talk to u and i would be glad to compare notes on what i know . for real man we can talk about anything i know alot about it but mind you i am not a doctor

I have been told I have anxiety and was wondering if anyone suffers from a symptom i get and if it is normal.

I often feel as though my brain is sort of having a spasm or someone is squeezing it really tight.

It is really hard to explain. It kind of feels like the moment before you pass out but then right before my eyes feel like they are going to roll back into my head i come to again.

Its so scary and i dont know how to get a handle on it. Every time i try to explain it to someone i feel really dumb because i cant describe it properly.

when it happens it throws me completely off balance and makes my heart race and my body tingle.

Im really having trouble getting a handle of it in public and often have to leave wherever i am or have a silent freakout and pretend its not happening.

I work in retail so its very hard to have a few moments of me time when it happens and i fear people are starting to notice.

I just wish i could make it stop.

hey mk

Must be hard trying to deal/understand this. There are so many things with anxiety that are hard to understand but i have found the more you read and talk to people gaining a better understand the better you feel about it all.

As for your symptoms i too sometimes feel this. Im not sure if its the same but it feels like someone is squeezing my head, it feels really tight, heavy and tingly and i get really fidgety and restless.

To be honest i haven't spoken to anyone as of yet that has had this feeling so reading your post has made me feel better about this part of my anxiety. i hope that knowing someone else has these symptoms helps you too.

I think it would be a good idea to talk to someone like your doctor so that you can get a better understanding. I have found that my psychologist has helped me a lot and has given me a chance to learn how to control all these symptoms. Explain all the symptoms that you wrote above. I can't express to you how much better i feel after having a better understanding of my anxiety. Anxiety is the most treatable mental health problem so with some guidance and understanding you will learn to control it 🙂
