Hello Guest,

What a shame that noone has replied until now. Sometimes posts slip through but it doesn't reflect on what you've written (just shows we're human).

Reading your story and idea made me feel conflicted. It is always good to read someone is standing up for themselves and trying to find things that help them. By (yeah that cautious voice always pipes up) I'm also very worried for you.

It sounds like you're having some understandable challenges with housing and with feeling ignored when you seek help?

Expressing yourself with murals sounds like a good outlet but I'm worried that it might backfire prevent you from receiving help. Do you think this is likely?

Are there other options you're willing to try to express yourself that don't involve changes to the property? Art on card, scrap metal or canvas is still a visible statement when they do inspect your home. More importantly it won't cost you your place in housing or land you with repair costs.

I hope you can return and share more about what is happening with you.

It can feel sometimes that noone cares or is willing to listen. It isn't like that here. Most of us here have been in a tough space mentally and appreciate how hard it can be to be heard. So we are happy to listen if you want to talk.

On a lighter note I'd love to hear more about your artwork and why it feels helpful to you.

Hello all, I've learned a new way of keeping track of my mental health, and at the same time, giving IT to department of housing for their terrible work...I've turned my entire walls into murals of daily reminders in abstract form..LIKE , causes of my anxiety and depression..it's one way of proving nobody listens.and when I finally get a visit ,I will say, read my walls..it's all up there.nobody has been listening to me.
