Hi Shane,

I’m sorry to hear that times are tough with a lack of intimacy with your wife.

Have you both got stressors in your life that may have been affecting your intimacy experiences? Have you talked to your wife about the issue?

How about organising a date night and take her to dinner / comedy show / movie / something else you would both enjoy to help rekindle the spark?

Take care mate.

Or you could cook her a special dinner and go for a walk at a local park or watch a movie at home? Turn the Coronavirus issue in to a positive and use it to reconnect.

Same here Shaneb76

I've been with my partner for 11 years but the last few years with me figuring out this depression stuff has strained our relationship. It got to the point where she told me she isn't sure if she loves me anymore. We almost ended it a couple months ago. Currently still living together in hopes to sort it out but she chooses to sleep in a separate bed now. We don't even touch each other. I continue to try and fix things but I can only give out so much to someone being unresponsive I think. How can you show affection to someone that does not want it from you? I feel like I'm just waiting to see if she comes around to me again.

Wish I had answers for you mate but maybe just knowing that someone else is in a similar situation to you is an offer of consolidation. Does anyone have experience with marriage counselling? Does it work?
