Hi Dory,

I have an iPod so I'm not sure if it's the same but here goes.

To log in to your Beyondblue account...

Open web browser. (Safari etc)
Search Google for "beyond blue".
Click the first link to the Beyondblue Home page.
Search "login".
Click the first link to "Webpages: Login"
Log in with your email/username and password.
Check "keep me signed in" to remember the username and password.

Once logged in and on Beyondblue Home page...

Search "online forums".
Click the first link to "Webpages: Online forums".
Save this page in your Bookmarks! Stay logged in, and it should take you straight to the Online Forums page when you click the bookmark.

There are probably easier ways to set it up, but once it's bookmarked all you have to do is click and you're right to go. Just stay logged in!

Hi Dory,

I thought you might like to know my mum took an axe!! to her mobile phone 😂😂😂. She’s gone through 3 phones but they all “died” due to her temper!!

I use an iPad too. So to bookmark a page/site you look up to the top right hand corner. There is a little picture of a square with an up pointing arrow. Touch this. It will bring up a selection of choices.

Bookmark is the second one on the second line. Touch the bookmark and it will bring up a square with the name of what you are on. Then press save in the top right corner of that little section.

I’ll just go & check how to retrieve a bookmark. Back soon, Lyn.

To retrieve a bookmark -

there is a picture that looks like an open book up on the left hand side at the top.

Touch this & it will show you your saved bookmarks. Touch the one you want et voila!

Sorry Dory 😟 I know it was a bit convoluted, and no you don't have to do it every time, that's just to find it and bookmark it. Ok, very embarrassed now. Probably should have asked my brother instead.

I am with you! My brain worked oaky up until about the 90's, then it really dropped out!

My husband was out one night when I was using the lap top. I phoned one of my nieces to find out how to turn it off!

It takes me about 10 minutes to send a 5 worded text message on my phone! Ha. Ha.

Modern technology is wonderful...when you know how to make it work. Ha. Ha.

Great thread!

I’m technology literate and older, so I’m happy to help out. I was a Mac user, but I’ve recently ditched my computers and now do all of my tech stuff via an iPad. I’m a bit scratchy on Windows PC stuff as I haven’t used a Windows PC for donkeys. But I can always google to find the answer, which I will understand.

So, if anyone wants some help, fire away, I’ll check back in regularly, cheers M:)

What Samsung phone do you have? I'll see if I can find a screenshot or link of what you need to do 🙂

A lot of the times you can actually save the website to your home screen - so where you scroll through on your apps you can just click on the page without going through your browser! For my phone I have a little box with an arrow pointing upwards but if you like I can check what it would be on your phone.

Hey Meercat,

To change your profile pic go to My Profile, which is located on the top right hand side of the forum menu, above the pink Make a Donation Box. Click on that, log in, and then go to My Account, there you’ll see some choices in blue boxes. At the bottom is Change Profile Pic - go there and follow the instructions.

I think you need to contact Admin to change your user name.

Hi. I have a samsung s8. it has a mind of its own. During my past fuzzy 3 weeks iv managed to download 3 daily weather reports and a voice woke me today at 6am with the world news. I cant wait to see what else this little phone can do.
