What an original thread..excellent 🙂

Robinia Mop Top..very decorative grafted tree that shapes itself as a circle up to 3LM in diameter....Requires pruning to encourage growth and is deciduous....Best not planted near paving or driveways as the roots can lift concrete and/or paving...

Usually sells for $135-00 but can be bought for circa $50 if you have a look around.

Well in another life I was a gardener. Built a couple from scratch. Learnt how to use a chainsaw, properly prune trees and roses. It doesn't matter how hard you try if a rosebush with thorns will always scratch you. That's ten of them put in for me. In the remembrance section, for ones who have gone before us. To lead the way and set up camp, and get the barby ready. Gotta have a barby when you get there, and put the drinks on ice.

Wow Kanga what an awesome idea! I love the garden already!

Every garden needs a feature entrance so I'll plant an avenue of oaks (of course!). I love the evergreen Holm Oaks with their holly like leaves. Holly is for protection against evil so they can keep everyone safe here in the garden too.

I do like making cuttings of the neighbourhood gardens. Daisy, rosemary, lavender, rose, the ivy for the fence

Just remembered a must have; BBQ and a garden shed. To keep tools in and fertilizer. A green house for good measure.

Great idea Kanga! A garden....

I just planted a row of grapes eating ones. A mulberry tree where I attached a swing hanging from a large horizontal branch.

hi Kanga, I love gardenia but have never had any luck, I've always had palm trees in the lounge room but where I have moved to, not having any luck keeping them alive, probably not enough sunlight, don't know why because I can see outside and it's bright enough. Geoff.

I LOVE gardenia!

Can I suggest a (ginormous) pond with fish and a bridge over it? I find water features peaceful.

A few ginormous River Red gums on the banks of the ginormous pond to laze under and sky gaze. (Also keeps kangas koala cousins happy). There are huge white billowy clouds in the sky to bounce around on, and make out shapes from.

I threw down some sturt desert pea seeds and was pleasantly surprised to find a plant about the size of a watermelon on my last trip to the block. Surprised because it shouldn't grow here. I hope it survives the winter. So my contribution today is a carpet of sturt desert peas they are absolutely gorgeous when in flower.

I just went for a beautiful stroll on the bridge over this ginormous pond. Picked a cherry tomato from the vege patch. And now laying on a hammock while staring at a large waterfall with crystal clear water flowing down it.
