hi 4 weeks ago tomorrow I wanted the pain of having ADHD over. Since then and despite numerous calls by my GP and myself we cannot get into our local private hospital.

I'm so sorry to learn that you are in so much pain and struggling to access the help you need. It's so unfair and you deserve so much better.

Couple of questions. Will your GP keep trying? Is there a wait list you could add your name to? Could you try another hospital in another area?

I ask because I really want to encourage you to keep trying. When my daughter needed in-patient care we faced similar challenges and she ended up in a public hospital. She got excellent care and it was an important turning point. Just hang in there.
