After 40 + years my husband just did not come home last week.I messaged to see when he would be home & after a short while received a message to say he has ended the marriage,quit job & I was not to contact him.Sure enough he has blocked me.I am devastated...Now II find out from daughter that he wanted to go 15 years ago & was waiting for me to die.Is this a monster?? I am shattered.He has told family that He will never be found & will never have any contact with me.I was supposed to die!!

So alone & kids do not want any part of it so of no help & I do not have any other family.Can't eat or sleep

Zani welcome again. I saw your post on another thread so thought I had replied.

Do you have someone who can support you? I can understand that you cant eat or sleep but you need to take care of yourself so you dont get run down.

You are in shock and you feel like you want answers.

Have you been ill, I wonder why he would make such a comment.

I am really deeply sorry that your husband done that to you..

What your daughter told you he said is very heartbreaking for you...

Please dear Zani...it is very hard to eat and sleep at the moment for you..but as hard as you can please try to eat something healthy each day...to keep up your strength and health....

After What he said and done to you....Do you still want to find him?....

Keep talking here lovely Zena...When you feel up to it..Sorry I really don’t know what to say to comfort you..but I am listening with a caring heart and will do my best to support you as much as I can....I’m sure other beautiful people from this wonderful community will pop in and support you also...

I'm sorry to hear you are in a very tough headspace right now- it is hard when those we love leave us- and in such an abrupt, inconsiderate way. If you are struggling to eat or sleep, feel free to contact Beyond Blue as quirkywords suggested. Do you have a support network around you? Breakups can be hard and having support can make all the difference- that includes using this thread to share your story.
