Hi dee shay

Welcome to the forum, we are glad you are here and appreciate your posting. Opening up about challenges can be hard. Please know that seeking help is a great step, but that, of course, doesn't make it easier to do in the moment.
Hi dee
shay,

I'd like
to follow Tay100 and give you a warm welcome to the Beyond Blue forms! Thank
you for having the courage to let us know a bit about what's been going on for
you. I'm genuinely really glad to hear that you're seeking help, it is a
difficult step and I commend you on taking that step!

As for
advice, I can tell you that the people working there are there to support you,
they are with you on your journey. It's completely normal to feel scared going
into a clinic because there's a high chance that you'll have to talk about your
trauma - which is frightening. BUT, PTSD clinic's are a safe space, the
clinicians and other people that work there are highly trained and educated -
so you'll be in great hands! Often I find just taking a deep breath before I go
into any appointments that I'm nervous about going into.

We are
all here cheering you on! I wish you all the best, and commend you on your
journey!
