Hi, welcome

I fully understand your feelings and this is not uncommon in new relationships.

When we meet someone we can confess our faults in the hope it will pave the way forward so we are free from any criticism. That action doesn’t always work however especially if your faults are extreme reactions and intolerable. At that point it most certainly justifies professional consultation with a family counselling.

A family counselor will be able to get to the bottom of the problem then get to an understanding why such insecurities exist.

I hope you are ok. Try to stay calm and visit your GP for s chat as you might have an issues like excess anxiety which will cause you to over worry.

OK newbie here,
My partner and I have been together nearly
2 years and from the beginning I openly told
Him I had many insecurities before we got serious
I don't know how to turn this from long to short
But basically he blames me for the now insecurities
He has. I'd I asked to look through his phone he says
It's because I'm guilty of something. I made mistakes in
The beginning but never was unfaithful or dis loyal or
Anything like that yet he still believes I slept around.
If I get angry or upset about something he just calls me
A narcassist and that's what I do. I love him so much
But I'm drowning please help!!!!

Hi All4him,

Relationships can be confusing at times, if we have been in one for 2 weeks, 2 years or 20 years.

We are all individuals with our own needs, wants and desires. We all think differently about relationships and what they should or shouldn't be.

Over time our expectations of partners can change. Insecurities can creep in and we might not always understand where they come from.

TonyWK has recommended a counsellor, that would be a good way for you both to discover what you really want and expect.

I'd also like to encourage you to find ways to make yourself happy. I realise when I am in need and my husband is not able to provide what I expect from him, I quite often become depressed if I am not able to help myself.

Feeling good about ourselves helps us in our relationships.

Regards from Dools
