      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Wardy,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Welcome to the forum and the community here. Not sure if you have already had a look around at some of the other threads here. I have a thread called DEPRESSION: Fight it or Embrace it. Recently I have tried to add some dot points to the thread to help with learning what helps with depression.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you don't mind, would you feel comfortable answering a few questions so we can help you further? If this is too imposing for you, then that is fine.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you been suffering from depression for long?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you been diagnosed with depression, do you see anyone for counselling?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are there some things that you have tried to help yourself with?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What are you struggling with the most in regards to your depression?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Things I find helpful with my depression include trying to keep busy, idle time makes my mind wander to negatives too quickly.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to accept some days are just going to have me feeling depressed, the more I fight that the more I feel depressed, so acceptance is better.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Reading books if I am at home helps as does writing out what is bothering me.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Trying to understand what triggers my depression helps a little as well.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once again, welcome Wardy, hope you feel comfortable here!&lt;/P&gt;
