Why is it so hard to navigate the forums?

Hi all, maybe my patience is probably a little bit short, I have an 88yr old mum with dementia as my only contact person. I found it difficult to find my way into the forum, possibly due to impatience but bewildering when I went to the online chat for help and the counsellor couldn't tell me. Guess I'll know next time 🙂

I am sorry you have had trouble with the forum.

It can be very overwhelming at first.

I noticed you have made ten posts, and I have replied to another post of yours, so welcome. Now you have started two threads , I hope you feel more comfortable with the forum.

You can got through the different categories or use the search engine on the top of each page to find topics that interest you.

Again welcome and I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Hi Spoono. I think when something is new it can be a bit daunting until we find our way around and feel like we belong. I actually find the site quite navigable, I was afraid it would be difficult for me to access with my screen reading technology, but it's quite easy to find my way around.

I was also impatient when I joined the forums a couple of years ago with my depression. You are not alone!

I think your patience is just fine! I know a lot of people have had troubles navigating the forums, and know that we're working behind the scenes to try and make it easier!

It sounds like you've made another post so hopefully you can get the support you need there.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions or if we can make things easier?

The other thing I thought I'd mention is the forum suggestions/improvements thread. The mods and BB team all read these threads so letting us know how we can make it easier would be really good feedback -
