Hi. I'm Q.Ball, a newbie. I just turned 30....
And now I'm 50
20 years have vanished into the abyss that is depression and anxiety. I am socially isolated for several reasons and so by coming here I hope to encounter and re-engage with some like heart-ed souls. Assuming you aren't all just robotic algorithms designed to sway me from thoughts of revolution.

20 years is a long time to be living with depression and anxiety .

Nah, we're not robotic algorithms. We're living human beings who experience pain, joy, love, anger, happiness etc.

I won't sway you from you thoughts of revolution. Marx was pretty good at designing his plan with the Communist Manifesto.

It's a long time since Karl's time. Is there anything you want to talk about that's troubling you? You talk about turning 30 but being 50. Has something happened?

Great to have you onboard. We're certainly having a good time with a lot of historical namesakes, Marx, Myer Briggs.

I agree the title of the thread is interesting - Poverty: a perfectly affordable adjustment to this greedy world.

I'm feeling inclined to think Q Ball may be studying sociology at uni. Happy to be corrected Q Ball.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm a kind of self funded freelance social anthropologist. No I never did get to uni in spite of wanting to early on money seemed such an obstacle but it in all likelihood saved me from indoctrination and dogma. Which brings me to Marx, no I think we need an entirely new kind of revolution.
