Hi All,

Thank you for letting me lurk in the background for the last month or so and for the responses to my more emotional introduction the other day.

I thought I would take the time to introduce myself in a more positive and calm way.

Hi, I am Maddie and I am in my late 20's.

I have nicknamed myself after one of my dogs hence the Pasha name, which incidentally came from a book I love.

I work full time in a job I enjoy and am studying and am a foster carer too ( currently on a break to look after myself)

I live in a tiny house with a big yard with 2 dogs and my Partner and all 3 of these beings are my happy place.

While I am stuggling at the moment with depression and anxiety, I want to live a happier life so this time I am putting myself first and I will do this and get myself better. (Now I have written it down I feel like I have taken ownership of this)

Thank you for all your kind words already, I hope I can also give some back.

Nice to meet you! I am sorry to hear that your are struggling at the moment, but rest assured you are not alone.

My name is Nicci, I am in my mid 30's have Aspergers and ADHD,no partner still single but two beautiful pets a cat and a dog who are the loves of my life. I don't work as it is very hard for someone of my conditions to find and sustain work. I too am currently struggling with depression and anxiety and did not know where else to turn to. I have very few friends since I have social anxiety also and at the same time that brings isolation and loneliness. However I am happy you started this thread as I think it could be very helpful to many of us who are in the same situation all for different reasons. Definitely not alone and thank you for posting. xx

Nicci, I think you have found a great place to not feel so isolated.

I must say pets are the best but I can't imagine having a dog and a cat... well not with the 2 dogs I have.

Welcome to the forums, if you haven't been lurking around for a while the team on here seem really supportive and it's a nice place to spend some time. The relaxed pages are nice things to scroll through if your feeling down as they are light hearted.

what do you enjoy doing maybe there is a thread their for chats as I recently saw a pets one ?

Well you can always order it but you will be the one making it and paying for it and washing up after . its mainly a social place to socialize have a giggle have a virtual food fight but in keep it clean have a laugh
